Introducing the Samosa
A Samosa is a tasty snack from South Asia, it is commonly found in countries such as India, Pakistan and Nepal as well as Bangladesh. It is believed that it originated in Central Asia prior to the 10th century. It generally consists of a fried triangular- or tetrahedron-shaped pastry shell with a savory potato, onion, fresh coriander, cottage cheese known as Paneer and pea stuffing, but other stuffing like minced meat are often used. Introducing the Pakora

A Pakora is an item in South Asian cuisine, created by taking ingredients such as chicken, onion, eggplant, lentils, potato, spinach, cauliflower, tomato, and chili (though usually not more than two to three of these), dipping them in a batter of gram flour and then deep-frying them. The most popular varieties are palak pakora, made from spinach, paneer pakora, made from paneer (soft cheese), and pyaz pakora, made from onion. They are sometimes referred to as onion bhujia or bhaji when just onions are used. Please see our menu for our range of Pakoras.

A chutney or chatni (Urdu, Hindi, Bengali or Tamil transliteration) is a term for a variety of sweet and spicy condiments, originally from the Indian subcontinent. Chutney, as a genre, is often similar to the salsa of Latin American cuisine, or European relish insofar as it usually involves a fresh, chopped primary vegetable/fruit with seasonings added, to be used as a condiment for another food. Chutney is the perfect accompaniment to our Indian Snack Foods. We will be adding some tasty chutneys to our menu in the near future.

Garam Chai translates to Hot Tea. The Garam Chai from Samosa Stall is prepared following a traditional Punjabi method using a special mix of traditional spices which forms the perfect accompanying beverage with an Indian snack. We will be adding a range of Garam Chai to our menu in the near future.
